The internet will give you all sorts of things but it won’t give you this.
It’s called integrity.
You heard me! There’s a huge lack of integrity on the internet and from the looks of things, it’s not coming back any time soon.
People are wrapped up in politics.
Self-proclaimed gurus are cheating everyone by misrepresenting themselves.
Everyone claims to be a Jack-Of-All-Trades but master of none.
Being honest, having strong moral principles, and doing the right thing is practically non-existent on the internet. There is only a small portion of people that uphold to such integrity and those are becoming even harder to find.
You know what will make you stand out like a sore thumb from everyone else? Integrity!
I believe that it’s important to be honest. I believe in God and always try to do the right thing. As a human being, I try to be all of the things mainly to contribute to society, be a better father, husband, and entrepreneur.
I’ll share something else with you and I’ve noticed this to be a constant amongst every successful person that I’ve come across.
Every successful person that I’ve met upholds a strong sense of integrity. Always being honest. Doing the right thing. Making a positive impact in the world. Solving complex problems. Giving back to the community. Do you think that it’s an awkward coincidence? Well, yeah. Integrity should be a huge part of who you are as a whole. It’s not just business-related.
After all, we do business with people. Understanding people, being honest, upholding moral values, and doing the right thing is what it’s all about.
It has taken me 20+ years to understand the importance of integrity in life and business. There have been many failures along the way and certainly more to come. Failure to exercise integrity is nothing more than an opportunity to learn how you can improve yourself and become a better person.
Be honest!
Have strong moral principles!
Do the right thing!
Give back to society in ways you see best fit!
Strive to be a better human being. We all need that to co-exist!
