Recently when I was working on building the new Web Partners Worldwide, LLC. website I ran into a couple of interesting barriers that I had to cross. Frankly I’m glad that I stumbled upon this otherwise I wouldn’t have found a solution for it. When you are working on compiling your website or blog an important part of it should be the RSS Syndication of your content. Setting up an RSS Feed can be tricky and if it hasn’t been properly configured it may not work at all.
When working with the Joomla Content Management System you have several components to choose from in order to setup your content feeds. One in particular that caught my eye was the Ninja RSS Syndicator component for Joomla 1.5.15. Unlike other RSS Component for Joomla 1.5 Native this one has some great features that I personally enjoyed.
- Advanced WYSIWYG Editor.
- RSS 0.91, 1.0, & 2.0 Support.
- ATOM, OPML, HTML, JS, MBOX fee creation.
- Include/Exclude Sections & Categories of your content.
- Custom Cache feature for component.
- HTML & Image Rendering
- Custom Button Maker for individual feeds.
- Exclusion of individual articles.
If you are seeking a RSS Syndicator for your Joomla website than you may want to consider using the Ninja RSS Syndicator component. It’s a free tool that you can download and install with an ease and be on your way to syndicating content across the web.
