YouTube has been a channel that I have not put forth a valiant effort towards. And that has been mainly due to time constraints and priorities (that is not an excuse either). As a newfound solopreneur I’m beginning to learn certain things. For example, the ability to focus on running your own race and leaving all the drama behind. Recently I was watching a video from Kanye West on The Breakfast Club that really got me thinking about the direction he’s running his career. In a sense, it resembles a similar approach to mine in terms of the mentality and fundamentals being followed in building up a strong personal brand. (more…)
Since the age of 13, I’ve had deep interest in business. While other 13-year olds were out playing, riding their bikes, and getting into all kinds of shenanigans, business was on my mind. Unfortunately, this was the age when I moved to the U.S. and my first encounter with the “Western” world. For a kid from Eastern Europe, well to most I was known as the foreigner from a third-world country. It was a difficult time for adjustment with plenty of emotional rollercoasters. Finding your own groove takes some time. Whether it’s in personal life or business, we all struggle in finding that sweet spot. Personally, a counterbalance between work and life has been a bit of a challenge for me during recent years. In the last several months particularly I’ve taken a huge leap into a whole new different direction in life. After nearly 14 years of little to no physical activity, healthy eating, & fitness I joined a personal training studio and hopped on a road bike. Call it an act of epiphany.
